PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microphone apparatus capable of excellently recording sound with excellent portability. SOLUTION: A microphone fitting section 2 is freely turnably fitted to one end of an L-shaped support 5 via a hinge around a rotary shaft 6. A plug 7 for electric and mechanical connection to a sound recording and reproducing device is fitted to the other end of the support 5. since a super-directive pipe 3 long in its total length can be turned around the rotary shaft 6 orthogonal to a center axis 8 of the plug 7, the direction of the microphone apparatus 1 can be correctly directed to a sound source when in use and can be folded around the hinge 4 when not in use.
