PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut down the number of parts and man-hours of assembling. SOLUTION: Cavities 14, into which female terminal fittings 20 electrically connectable with each other can be inserted, are formed with one open in the opposite side to the other, and a retainer mounting hole 19, communicating with each cavity 14, is formed in the housing 11. In the retainer-mounting hole 19, a retainer 30 for stopping escape of each female terminal fitting 20 is made attachable. In the retainer 30, a locking part 33, which can go in each the cavity 14, is prepared, and is made possible to be locked to a jaw part 25 of a main body part 21 of each female terminal fitting 20 to which each locking part 33 corresponds.
