PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display plate having a display element enhanced in a three-dimensional feel. SOLUTION: The display plate has a light transparent substrate 21, the bold scale display element 8A consisting of projecting parts 20 formed on the substrate 21, a display layer 27 of a metallic tone of silver, gold or the like disposed at this display element 8A, a ground color layer 22 disposed on the surface side of the substrate 21 exclusive of the display element 8A, and a transmitting section 28 for transmitting the light emitted by a light emitting diode with the lightness different at the circumference of the display element 8A when the light emitting diode as a light source is made to emit the light from the back of the substrate 21.
