PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatic preparation of a processing solution for photographic sensitive materials which reduces the working load relating to the work to carry containers and the work to exchange empty containers with fresh containers and maintains the quality of the processing solution to be prepared. SOLUTION: The method for automatic preparation of the processing solution for the photographic sensitive materials is characterized in that, in preparing the photographic processing solution by taking out the prescribed volume each of thickened liquid processing compositions of a plurality of parts out of the housing containers for the respective compositions and preparing the photographic processing solution by an automatic photographic processing solution preparing apparatus, the taking out of the thickened liquid processing compositions of at least one part is the simultaneous and equal volume taking of the compositions out of a plurality of the composition housing containers.
