PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of noises during stretching work and loosening work of a belt. SOLUTION: The belt fastener has a body frame 3, a belt winding mechanism 5 provided at one end part of the body frame 3 and capable of winding and rewinding a first belt 1, and a belt loosening mechanism 6 provided at the other end part of the body frame 3 and capable of rewinding a second belt 2 at a unit of a small amount. The belt loosening mechanism 6 has a first shaft 42 for overlapping and guiding the second belt 2, a slotted hole 41a formed to the body frame 3 so as to be extended in the direction going away from the first shaft 42, a second shaft 45 axially supported freely movably and freely rotatably to the slotted hole 41a, coming into contact with a plane nearly vertical to the axis of the slotted hole 41a, and also winding around the second belt 2 guided from the first shaft 42 and guiding it to the first shaft 42, and a rotation lever 47 provided at one end part of the second shaft 45 and rotating the second shaft 45.
