<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared receiver for detecting a waiting time when no signal exists in a circuit of the infrared receiver for receiving an infrared signal. <P>SOLUTION: This infrared receiver is provided with a high potential power supply line, a low potential power supply line, a pin photodiode 1, a constant voltage circuit 2, a signal processing circuit 28 for an infrared signal, a current mirror connected to the pin photodiode 1, a first output connected to the output of the current mirror, a second output, a first power supply switching circuit 27 being a power supply switch with an OR operation of the individual outputs for connecting a continuous noise decision circuit 35 to the first output and connecting a signal decision circuit 34 to the second output, a lowpass filter of a third output of a BPF 7 in the signal processing circuit 28, and a second power supply switching circuit 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
