<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply which can significantly improve the rectification efficiency of a generator which is built into an arm attachment type electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This power supply apparatus conducts rectification or reverse current block of a power supplied by a generator built in a portable electronic apparatus, such as an arm attachment type electronic apparatus by using a unidirectional unit having a diode, a bypass switch connected in parallel with the diode, and a control unit which turns on the bypass switch, when a forward voltage is generated in the diode. With such a constitution, a loss caused by the forward voltage in a power supply state can almost be eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
