LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device whose screen quality can be enhanced by changing the structure or the material of a color filter with a post spacer and to provide a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device comprises: a step for providing a transparent insulation substrate; a step for forming black matrixes on the substrate and then forming color filter layers on the entire surface of the black matrixes; a step for forming an ITO or an overcoating layer on the color filter layers; a step for forming a pattern of post spacers on the ITO or the overcoating layer; and a step for forming a liquid crystal layer on the entire surface of the substrate by means of polymer dispersed liquid crystal.
