PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for electric parts in which deformation of a moving plate can be suppressed, and provide the moving plate after an insertion hole or the like within the range of the arrangement of a contact pin can be secured with high precision. SOLUTION: In the socket main body in which the electric parts are housed, a plurality of contact pins capable being connected/disconnected with the terminal of the electric parts are arranged, and a slide plate 17 as a 'moving plate' against the socket main body is movably installed. In the socket for electric parts of which, an elastic piece of the contact pin is elastically deformed by moving this slide plate 17, and a contact part of the elastic piece is connected/ disconnected with the terminal of the electric parts, the slide plate 17 has a lattice-shaped insulation wall part 40b by arranging a plurality of insertion holes into lattice shapes through which, a plurality of contact pins are inserted, and the rigidity of the surrounding part of this lattice-shaped insulation wall part 40b is improved by the lattice-shaped insulation wall part 40b.
