PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with a terminal structure preventing the damage to an insulating cylinder 6 due to the occurrence deformation caused by a difference in coefficient of thermal expansion, by sealing and fixing the space between the terminal and the ceramic insulating cylinder 6 with wax through a metal ring 10, etc. SOLUTION: In the constitution, an aluminum alloy positive terminal 4 or a copper alloy negative terminal 5 are inserted into an inner cylinder of the ceramic insulating cylinder 6 which is sealed and fixed to an open hole of a terminal supporting plate 7 of a metal battery exterior body. At the same time, the metal ring 10 is fitted outside the positive and negative terminals 4 and 5. The space between the inner peripheral part of the metal ring 10 and the positive and negative terminals 4 and 5, and the space between the outer peripheral part of the metal ring 10 and the insulating cylinder 6, are sealed and fixed by aluminum wax 8 or copper alloy family metal wax.
