<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely avoid erroneously selecting a printer with a second print mode having expendable supplies excessively expended as a result of designating a first print mode. <P>SOLUTION: When the first or the second print mode is designated as a print mode for processing printing information, a management information acquired by a printer driver 4007 is checked up to determine whether an expenditure information of the expendable supplies for use in the second print mode expended along with execution of printing in the first print mode designated for a selectable printer is included or not. A printer other than those determined to include the expenditure information is selected, and the print data to be transferred to the selected printer is generated and transferred from the printing information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
