<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile multi-card capable of being used for multi- functional standards by integrating a magnetic card, an IC card, and a CD into one disk, improving a safety mechanism for use of the disk, and increasing a memory capacity. <P>SOLUTION: In this versatile multi-card capable of reading data in a card reader and a CD drive, a CD reading face and magnetic lines (or IC chip) are provided on the disk conforming to the rules of ISO7816 (thickness 0.8 mm). The card is inserted into the card reader or the card insert machine, the data stored in the magnetic lines or IC chip is read, and the disk is placed on a reading cover panel of 0.4 mm so that the disk can be stably placed in the CD drive. Then the data in the CD reading face can be read by an optical reading head in the CD drive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
