<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored fine particle dispersion which has good handleability, odor and safety, suitable for e.g. a water-base ink for writing, a water-base printing ink, and an ink for recording information, and is excellent in dispersion stability and shelf stability since the dispersed particles have each a small diameter, and to provide an ink containing the dispersion, and to provide a method of ink jet recording using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The colored fine particle dispersion contains an oil soluble polymer, and a phthalocyanine coloring agent that has an oxidizing potential of more noble than 1.0 V (vs SCE), dispersed in an aqueous medium, and the ink containing the dispersion of colored fine particle and the ink jet recording method including a step of image recording on a recording material by using the ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
