<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teaching method capable of easily performing a teaching operation in a short time and accurately fetching processing data in by any untrained personnel. <P>SOLUTION: A teaching line for teaching works is taught in step S1. Teaching data is produced at the basis of taught data in step S2. The teaching data are stored in a memory means in step S3. A teaching operation of the teaching works is finished in step S4, and the teaching data are moved along the processing line of a practically processed work in step S5. The amount of gap with the teaching data is detected by teaching the processing line in step S6, and processed data are produced by modifying the teaching data based on the amount of the gap.
