<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for printed circuit boards and the printed circuit board equipped with it, which can suppress solder-ball scattering, a blowhole, and a void occurring in the solder of a joint part of the terminal and the substrate. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to the terminal 12 equipped with a conductive rod 13, a flange part 14 formed at its end part, and further a nipper 15 prepared at the end part extended from the flange part 14, occurrence of the solder-ball scattering, the blowhole, and the void is suppressed and the soldering quality is improved by making a composition that a groove 16 is arranged on a face of the flange part 14 contacting the printed circuit board 18, and while combining the terminal 12 and the printed circuit board 18 firmly by the caulked part 15, by discharging most of the gas generated in the substrate 17 by the groove 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
