PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical control device for a circuit breaker, which can prevent breaking a handle of the circuit breaker by reducing the impact force from a linear actuator of the electric operating device on the operating handle of the circuit breaker, when the circuit breaker is switched on or switched off. SOLUTION: The electrical control device 2 has an electromagnet type linear actuator 7, whose movable member 5 is shifted to ON position or OFF position linking the operating handle 1a of the circuit breaker 1. A stopper 11 which faces the operating handle 1a of the circuit breaker 1 at some idle gap g, corresponding to the ON position or the OFF position of the operating handle 1a of the circuit breaker 1 is disposed as a restraining means for reducing the impact force from the movable member 5 at a stroke end of the linear actuator 7, when the circuit breaker 1 is switched on or switched off. The stopper 11 blocks the impact force on the operating handle 1a at the stroke end, when the circuit breaker 1 is switched on or switched off, in order to prevent breaking the operating handle 1a.
