PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase rigidity of a beam to be installed between the side frames of a weaving machine. SOLUTION: A breast beam 20 has a hollow shape of a square pipe type and the hollow part of the breast beam 20 is divided into a pair of divided hollow parts 26 and 27 by a division rib 201. The breast rib 201 is integrated with the breast beam 20. The division rib 201 is extended in the length direction of the breast beam 201 and is horizontal. The divided hollow parts 26 and 27 are vertically separated and divided. The division rib 201 has a direction component in the beating up direction Q of a deformed reed 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
