PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a fluorophor sheet, which can form a highly adhesive fluorophor layer having thickness of more than 200μm, in manufacturing the photostimulable fluorophor sheet which has the (photostimulable) fluorophor layer formed on a sheet substrate by vacuum deposition. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the fluorophor sheet, which has the photostimulable fluorophor layer formed on the sheet substrate by vacuum deposition, is characterized by having a vacuum chamber, an evacuation means for exhausting the air from the vacuum chamber, a cleaning means for cleaning the surface of the above substrate, and an evaporating means of a fluorophor material for forming the above fluorophor layer, and forming the above fluorophor layer on the surface of the substrate cleaned by the above cleaning means, with the fluorophor material evaporated by the above evaporating means.
