PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent that is used for cleaning the inside of a cooling or heat pump circulation system, in which an HFC working fluid is used, that never depletes ozone layers, is incombustible, has small latent heat of vaporization, a low vapor pressure and low surface tension. SOLUTION: The detergent for the cycle cleaning comprises 1,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6-tridecafluorohexane. The method for cleaning the inside of the circulation system, through which the working fluid of the cooling system or the heat pump system circulates, using 1,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6- tridecafluorohexane is provided.
