SEALING MATERIAL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified silicone-based sealing material composition free from surface tackiness after curing which is a problem in a conventional silicone sealant. SOLUTION: This sealing material composition contains (A) a cross-linkable silyl group-containing organic polymer, and (B) an amine compound having two or more primary amino groups in one molecule, and an alicyclic, heterocyclic and/or aromatic ring. The rate of the reaction of the amine compound B with carbon dioxide gas is≥10% (based on the amino group) for 24 hr in the atmosphere at 20°C in 60% PH. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
