<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network type translation system and method and a program therefor equipped with a translation database, which assures a high accuracy, can be updated day after day, and assures reasonable costs for acquisition and also operational management. <P>SOLUTION: A by-category translation specification is received from any user via a transmitting path of Internet, and the obtained pieces of information are learnt and stored in the translation database classified by categories. When a translation request is given after the translation specification, an optimum translation is selected by reference to the translation database according to the specified category, and the result from translation is returned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
