<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processing system for ensuring the input of a necessary input portion of a formatted document. <P>SOLUTION: For documentation requiring a fixed format, a specific function key is pressed for the convenient function of Word documents or a specially prepared button on a screen is clicked whereby specific letters (hereinafter called specific letters) classified by letters, figures, symbols and the like preset at the head of the portion of a document to be changed are retrieved from a fixed document; this operation is suspended at the position of the first specific letter to be detected and the first specific letter is deleted.
