<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording tape cartridge capable of opening/closing an opening having a constitution which permits the shortest drawing out route for a recording tape, in which a shield member capable of miniaturizing the housing space of a drive device does not interfere with a reel and a leader member, and to obtain the drive device capable of securely opening and closing the opening of the recording tape cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: In the recording tape cartridge 10, the opening 20 which is slant to the direction of an arrow A is formed by cutting out the corner of the loading side of a case 12 toward the drive device, and a leader pin 22 and the magnetic tape T are drawn out through the shortest route from the opening 20 directed to both of the directions of the arrow A and the arrow B. The opening 20 is opened/closed, in which an operational protrusion 52 of a door 50 is pressed so as to be moved backward by the operation for loading the drive device with the case 12, and in which the door 50 warped like an arc is rotated so as to pass around a pin base 24 and the outer periphery of a reel 14 without protruding over the moving track along the warped shape thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
