<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing technology that enables an addressee to print the data sent from the sender by setting printout specifications the addressee wants. <P>SOLUTION: A print system 1A is provided with a client 2A, a print server 3A and a printer 4, each of which is connected to a network 10. The print server 3A has a database to store setting data for printout specifications related with users, who receive printout data, and a data processing unit 36. The print system retrieves the printout specifications for the addressees specified by the sender when the client A sends the printout data to the printer A, and processes the printout data on the basis of the printout specifications using the data processing unit 36. Furthermore, the system prints the processed data on the printer 4.
