PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam bracket for smoothly lubricating around a thrust plate even on engine start-up. SOLUTION: In the cam bracket 8 that rotatably supports a cam shaft 1 having the thrust plate 3 while being provided with a thrust plate slot 10 whose top surface is opened and into which the thrust plate 3 is rotatably inserted, an oil reservoir 11 is formed in a concave form at least on one side of the rotative direction of the thrust plate 3 on the opened top surface of the thrust plate 10.
