PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease of magnetic flux density by reducing number of division of a magnet in an adjustable drive unit, thereby overcome a problem in a case that a fine adjustment for an object lens is enabled in a tilt direction. SOLUTION: A lens holder 24 holding an object lens 6 was supported movably by a suspension wire 23 against a damper base 22 fixed on an actuator base 21. Three magnets 31, 32, and 33 in all are held separately in at least two portions on the actuator base. The lens holder is made to hold coils 37, 38, 39, 41, and 42 cooperating with the magnets. In this way, it was enabled to adjust the lens holder finely in each direction of focusing direction A2, tracking direction A3, and tilt direction A4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
