PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to maximize the reliability of the entire system at a mirroring constitution unless taking due account that which disks are to be coupled to write original data and duplicate data. SOLUTION: A data storage means allocates data dispersedly with the uniform number of blocks by a data block unit to a plurality of storage devices by dividing the data into a plurality of data blocks of every uniform data quantity and stores the data block having identical contents redundantly at every prescribed number of the storage devices and a readout means reads out the data stored in a plurality of storage devices dispersedly by single or plural data block unit for every prescribed number of the storage devices are provided.
