PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfix member having excellent characteristics such as adaptability to the quality of copies or the allowance and tenacity against wear. SOLUTION: The transfix member 7 to be used for an image forming device comprises a substrate 14, an optional intermediate layer 15, an outer layer 16 made of a hybrid composition containing polyamino polysiloxane and a fluoroelastomer, and a heating member associated with the transfix member.
