PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driven shutter whose shutter curtain does not interfere with electric cables. SOLUTION: First, second, and third members 40, 50, 60 are attached so as to surround the periphery of a winding up section in the inside face of a side face plate 21 of a shutter case 10 to form a lateral displacement prevention member 23. The surface of the first, second, and third members 40, 50, 60 are used for a guide face 23a, and a continuous space is formed between these members 40, 50, 60 and the inside face of the side face plate 21 to define a space 23b for inserting electric cables. Electric cables are put in the space 23b for inserting electric cables and connected to a motor. In this way, the curtain gets in contact with the guide face 23a, when the shutter curtain 12 laterally slips off, hence, the lateral displacement is prevented and the curtain does not interfere with the electric cables.
