PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel plate with good deep drawability and small deep drawing anisotropy. SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel plate contains C of 0.05% or less, Si of 1.0% or less, Mn of 2.0% or less, P of 0.050% or less, S of 0.015% or less, Cr of 8.0-25.0%, Al of 0.10% or less, N of 0.05% or less, Ca of 0.0003-0.0030% and O of 0.010% or less. The ferrite (111) planes of the plate develop in a random order by using CaS and/or CaO dispersed in the ferrite matrix as nucleus formation sites. Furthermore, the plate can contain one or more kinds from among Ti of 0.01-0.50%, Nb of 0.01-0.60% and B of 0.0005-0.010%, and one or more kinds from among Ni of 2.0% or less, Cu of 3.0% or less, Mo of 3.0% or less, V of 0.01-0.30% and Zr of 0.01-0.30%.
