PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect user's privacy while associating services of screen display and telephone with each other when both the services are combined to provide a new service. SOLUTION: A media information retrieval portal site 2 which specifies a user allocates additional information identifying the user, and reports it together with an incoming number and registers it in a management TBL 222 when receiving a telephone service connection request through a telephone terminal. When a call based upon the incoming number is received thereafter through the telephone terminal, the user is specified from the additional information, a user's request is recognized as a voice to performs media information retrieval complying with the request, and the result is registered in the management TBL 222. Further, when a request to browse the retrieval result is received through the telephone terminal, retrieval from the management TBL 222 is performed according to the additional information and the retrieval result is answered.
