WRITE-UP SUPPORT SYSTEM USING SPEAKING SPEED CONVERSION AND SEMIAUTOMATIC SUPERIMPOSED CHARACTER PROGRAM PRODUCTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write-up support system using speaking speed conversion for supporting the write-up work of a superimposed character text with respect to speech voices so as to easily listen to the speech voices. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a block deciding part 52 for dividing the voice into frames of a fixed length, deciding a sounded block, a silent block and a soundless block as blocks of the speech voices for each frame, detecting the soundless block equal to or longer than a prescribed time and deciding the soundless block as a pause block meaning the breathing block of an uttered voice, a sounded block extending part 53 for defining an interval between the pause block and the next pause block as a phrase block, converting a speaking speed over a fixed time on the basis of a prescribed decrease function with a prescribed extension magnification from the starting point of the first sounded block in the phrase block for each phrase and providing a speaking speed based on the decrease function after the lapse of the fixed time and a timing information detecting part 53a for detecting start timing information corresponding to the starting point of the first sounded block in the phase block and end timing information corresponding to the ending point of the final sounded block in the phrase block for each phrase on the basis of presentation timing information.
