PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical finder and a camera having a merit that a zoom lens moving mechanism in the optical finder is made small in size. SOLUTION: A moving mechanism for moving a plurality of moving lenses (222 and 223) of a finder optical system 205 interlocked with the movement of the zoom lens 122 of a photographic optical system 105 is equipped with a plurality of driving plates 244 and 254 laminated and attached so as to respectively turn, cam parts 243 and 253 respectively provided on the respective plates 244 and 254 and engaging with a driving force transmitter (193) moving with the movement of the zoom lens 122 of the optical system 105 and respectively converting the movement of the transmitter (193) to the turning operation of the respective plates 244 and 254, and moving operation parts (242 and 252) provided on the plates 244 and 254 respectively turned by the action of the cam parts 243 and 253 and respectively moving the lenses (222 and 223) in the optical system 205.
