<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the ohmic loss between individual solar cells without reducing the output of the solar cells. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric current is collected at each of connecting electrodes 6a in an upper region defined by a straight Y-Y' line, and likewise, the photoelectric current is collected at each of connecting electrodes 6b in a lower region defined by the straight Y-Y' line. Thus, an average current path on a rear face current collector layer 5 is shortened, which in turn reduces the ohmic loss of the rear face current collector layer 5. Also, as the individual connecting electrodes 6a, 6b are connected to plural portions of an interconnector, in the case the length of the interconnector becomes large, the increase of the ohmic loss of the interconnector is suppressed. Further, as the connecting electrodes 6a, 6b are distributed on the rear face current collector layer 5, the current collecting effects of the rear face current collector layer 5 are not damaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
