PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of providing a driver with information, while not preventing safety of driving. SOLUTION: This navigation device receives VICS information (step S101), and decides whether a vehicle is running on a curved road at a prescribed or higher speed (step S103). Then, the device decides whether the vehicle passes the curved road and the normal running state continues as long as a prescribed time or not (step S105), and displays the VICS information received in the step S101 when the normal running state continues as long as a prescribed time (step S107).
