PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gate equipment capable of opening/closing a long span of a harbor inlet or the like in a short time and withstandng a large load such as waves, etc. SOLUTION: The gate equipment is provided with a support body 13 composed of a pair of right and left piers 11 having a floating tank 24 respectively and a bed 12 connecting the piers 11 and a float flap 14, rotatably supported around the horizontal axial center line extending along the breadthwise direction and setting afloat a hermetically sealed float 44 at the free end.
