PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor which is not easily deteriorated in its insulation property even if it is used under a higher humidity environment in a decoupling capacitor which is used in the power supply line requiring quick supply of electrical power to a semiconductor integrated circuit. SOLUTION: A floating conductor 6, which is not in contact with the electrode of any electrical polarity, is formed on the surface of a protection layer 5 shielding the electrical field across an external connection terminal 7 and an external connection terminal 8 of different electric polarities.
