The invention relates to an oil-separating device for separating oil droplets which are carried in the gas flow of a crankcase and are released by means of the crankcase ventilation of a combustion engine. The inventive oil-separating device comprises at least one separating element through which the gas flows at least in part. Said separating element (6) contains a granulate (22) made of a synthetic material, whereby a high degree of small oil droplet separation is obtained.
