The vehicle structure for a model of motor vehicle with a self-supporting floor assembly (2) which is constructed from fiber-reinforced plastic. A contoured component of the floor assembly is manufactured by laminating on a mould assembled from several modular component parts. The modular component parts are solid components of autoclave-suitable plastic material, or aluminum, or hollow components of chemical fiber reinforced plastic wall shells. The modular components are interconnected by a plug-in and/or screw connection. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for the manufacture of a contoured component for a vehicle structure.
