<p>An extension card mounting structure which ensures an easy replacing without opening/closing the side plate of a computer housing or the like when an extension card is to be replaced and enables a hot swap function. A replacing link member for mounting an extension card via an extension card-use connector to a computer housing having the connector, comprising a card fixing adapter for mounting the extension card thereon, a slide rail for insertion into a slide disposed in the vicinity of an extension card slot in the housing, and an extensible arm having a link mechanism linking the card fixing adapter and the slide rail and being formed free to extend so as to provide a variable distance between the card fixing adapter and the slide rail, wherein the extension card can be attached to the connector when the link mechanism is moved in an extending direction after the slide rail is inserted into the slide.</p> |
