The invention relates to fireproof glazing (1) comprising at least two panes of glass (2, 3, 8), allocated to one another in an essentially parallel manner and separated by a gap, which is filled with a fireproof composition (4). The aim of the invention is to reduce the cost of the fireproof glazing (1) and to extend the period during which the said glazing (1) prevents the unhindered penetration of thermal radiation. To achieve this, the fireproof composition (4) comprises a gel containing a liquid, preferably water, in particular an organic gel and preferably a hydrogel.
