摘要 A micro−porous noble metal material,characterized in that it comprises a noble metal material formed though the reduction of a compound of the noble metal absorbed on an aggregate of fine silica particles in a state of a nanometer order dispersion,and has fine pores of a nanometer order formed in the inside thereof as the vestige of the above silica particles;and a method for preparing the titled material which comprises using an aggregate of fine silica particles having a primary particle diameter of a nanometer order as a matrix(a dispersing medium),allowing the above nano−silica aggregate to absorb a noble metal compound,reducing the noble metal compound to the metal,and removing the silica particles by dissolution.The titled material has an increased specific surface area and exhibits effectively activities inherent in a noble metal such as Pt,Pd or Rh,and thus can be used as a high functional catalyst,an adsorbent,a gas occluding material,a selectively permeable membrane,etc.
