A radar comprising(1)an antenna section for transmitting a radio wave and receiving the reflected wave thereof,(2)means for rotating the antenna section about an axis in the transmitting direction of radio wave,and(3)a control means for detecting the orientation of a target in a plane dependent on the attitude of the antenna section from the reflected wave with reference to the axis.
