A gas pressurization type writing utensil comprising a writing tip (10) at the front end (14a) of a tube body (14), ink (12) received in the tube body (14) to be fed to the writing tip (10), a receiving sleeve body (18) to encapsulate at least a portion of the tube body (10) so as to define a space (16) communicating with the rear open section of the tube body (14), a pressurized gas sealed in the space (16), the pressurized gas pushing out the ink to the writing tip (10) so as to secure writability, the receiving sleeve body (18) being made of a material exhibiting low gas permeability or gas impermeability and being of simple construction adapted to prevent the pressurized gas from escaping to the outside.
