A variable stand (1), extensible by plug-in additional modules (2), has two parts (1.1,1.2) and serves for retaining several loudspeaker housing modules (3) and is an integral part of the extensible, modular loudspeaker system. Preferably the loudspeaker housing modules are so designed that only three modules, i.e. for tweeter range (3.1), woofer/middle range (3.2) and woofer range (3.3) may be used for realizing numerous loudspeaker systems.
