The invention concerns a hydraulic motor (1) with a gear set (2), which has a rotatable and orbitable first toothed element (8; 8a) and a second toothed element (11, lla), forming between them chambers (K), which can be acted upon by pressure in dependence of the position of a valve (6; 6a), said valve being rotatable with the first toothed element (8; 8a) via a rotary connection (7; 7a). In such a hydraulic motor it is endeavoured to achieve a more regular operation. For this purpose, the rotary connection (7a) has a torsion protection between the first toothed element (8a) and the valve (6a).
