A gas pressurization type writing utensil comprising a tube body (14) opened in the rear and having a writing tip (10) at the front end and ink (12) received therein to be fed to the writing tip (10), a space (16) communicating with the rear open section (14b) of the tube body, a receiving sleeve body (18) closed in the rear end and adapted to encapsulate at least a portion of the tube body (14), the receiving sleeve body (18) being made of a material exhibiting low gas permeability or gas impermeability, a pressurized gas sealed in a space (16) defined between the tube body (14) and the receiving sleeve body (18), so that when heated, the receiving sleeve body (18) is first decomposed to release the sealed gas into the outside of the space, thereby making it possible to prevent, by using a simple arrangement, the leakage of gas and to eliminate drawbacks including the blown-off of the writing tip when the utensil is incinerated or otherwise processed.
