A method for activating water, characterized in that it comprises arranging particles comprising a simple element selected from the group consisting of silicon, titanium, nickel and samarium or comprising a carbon fluoride at a position suitable for amplifying an energy of wave nature inherent in each element or a carbon fluoride, and allowing water or an aqueous medium to stay in or pass through the field into which the energy of an active structure having a field of energy concentration between the above particles is concentrated, to thereby activate water and at the same time increase the amount of the dissolved oxygen. The method allows the activation of water with the application of no or a reduced energy to the water.
