<p>A rotor (10) for a gyroscopic device is constructed by fabricating a unitary assembly (10A) comprising a rim (24), a hollow shaft (34), a hub (22) at each end of the shaft (34), a web (26) that extends radially inward from the rim (24) to one of the hubs (30), (22) at angle to rotor spin axis and machining the assembly.
