A secure point-of-sale (POS) portal architecture for delivering multiple services. Various parties offering a number of services (12) are integrated. The parties offering the services (14) include payment processors, merchant acquirers, and other service providers (31). The integrated services are offered to merchant and/or their respective customers via POS devices (16) a t the merchant locations. The integrated services include acceptance of multip le payment instruments, payment processing, sales promotion, customer support, loyalty programs, back office processing, receipt capture, employee training , risk management, dispute resolution, system security and system administration. The services may be customized based upon a merchant's requirements. |
